As a parent, it is your responsibility to instill good values to your children, so that they will grow as responsible individuals. And one good value that you can teach your children is being environmentally friendly. It is best to start teaching them the importance of caring for the environment at a young age, so they can carry that value with them when they grow up.
• Expose them to nature. Take your kids to the zoo or a wildlife rehabilitation center to learn more about the different kinds of animals. Teach them about the importance of treating animals with care and respect. You can also take your kids to go camping. Let them observe the plants, trees and flowers in the forest. Exposing your kids to the environment, will help them appreciate the value of caring for the environment. (more...)
